Patrick Ryan was born on Christmas Eve, December 24, 1984, in Petoskey, Michigan. He attended the Saint Francis Xavier Elementary School and the Public Schools of Petoskey after the sixth grade.
At Petoskey Middle School, Patrick's love of music was recognized readily by his teachers. He became a leader on the drum line of the marching band , a percussionist in the concert and jazz bands, and was one of the founding members of the renowned Petoskey Steel Drum Band.
With the Petoskey Steel Drum Band, he has performed at Disney's Epcot Center, New Orleans' Mardi Gras, and throughout the Caribbean Islands.
Although he is an excellent, classically trained percussionist, Patrick is an accomplished guitarist and performer in his own right.
A Music Education Major at Aquinas College in Grand Rapids, Michigan, he graduated Cum Laude in the spring of 2007, and is now the Band Director at the Public Schools of Petoskey, Michigan.
As a child, Patrick often joined his dad on stage at Sullivan's North in Saginaw, where, for twelve years, Sean performed at sold-out dinner shows and Paddy's Pub special events.
While Sean's roots are in traditional Irish and folk music, Patrick adds the unique sound of contemporary acoustic music to the program.
Patrick is also an avid sailor and teaches youth sailing at the Walloon Lake Country Club in Michigan during the summer season.
